Hours of Operation

The Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, with last guest entry at 3pm.The Business Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The Museum is closed on Mondays and the following major U.S. holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day,Independence Day, Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas


Self-guided Audio tours, using Museum tablets, are provided at no extra charge with admission fee. Single use, disposable earbuds are also available at no charge. You may also tour the Museum on your own with a map available at the Guest Relations Desk.

Public Docent-led tour at 12:30pm – please note: reservations and pre-payment are required for this public tour. 24 hour cancellation is required for a refund. Click here to RSVP and purchase a ticket.

Private Group Tour and Student Field Trips are available by appointment only – please contact Education Specialist David Nelson for more information and scheduling availability at David@hmcec.org.

Admission Fees

Tickets should be purchased online prior to your visit.
This is to ensure we do not exceed our occupancy limit for social distancing.

We are offering tickets for specific times and days.

Tickets purchased online are $13.
Tickets purchased at the Museum are $15.
Students with ID $8

With capacity limitations, purchasing discounted tickets online is encouraged.

Are you a Museum Member and would like to visit? Your visit is free but you will still need a timed ticket. Please contact us at info@hmcec.org or call 239-263-9200 so we can adjust that day's tickets available.

While there are specific timed tickets to purchase on our website, you may show your ticket and enter at any time presuming we are not already at capacity.
