School Group Field Trip Tours

The Museum can accommodate approximately sixty (60) students and chaperones per visit. The visit/program typically lasts about 2-2 1/2 hours and ideally begins by 10:30 at the latest, Tuesday through Friday. We can accommodate an afternoon visit on Monday, if that is more convenient.

The cost is $4.00 per student payable on the day of the visit. Teachers/Chaperones are free.

We provide an introduction with video for the whole group, then split them in half. Half of students the take a tour of the Museum while the other half does an activity which can be flexible based on your students' needs. We then bring everyone back together for a conclusion.

If you’d like a Survivor presentation, we request that we do that for the whole group at the school. This is included in the cost of the Museum visit.

Museum Field Trip Forms

Special Note: Thanks to the generous grant from Suncoast Credit Union Foundation, funds are available to help defray the cost of 8th grade Field Trips to the Museum. The grant provides funds to cover all associated costs with these trips, from transportation to substitute teachers needed during your absence. Please let us know if we can help in getting your students to the Museum.
