Donate or Loan an Artifact

The Holocaust Museum & Cohen Education Center collects material items related to the events of the Holocaust and pre-Holocaust cultural items.

Artifacts the Museum accepts include, but are not limited to, the personal papers and materials of Holocaust Survivors, Camp Liberators, and World War II Displaced Persons; maps; photographs; materials from the Displaced Persons’ experience after the war; and cultural & religious books before 1950. With regard to flags and large textile pieces, the Museum currently accepts only those with unique connections to the Holocaust.

Please note – the Museum does not purchase artifacts or provide an appraisal for any item. All potential donors are expected to complete an accession (donation) form for either a Temporary Loan or Permanent Donation.

If you are interested in donating an item to the Museum, please contact Curator Cody Rademacher to set up an appointment to meet with him – his e-mail is Cody@HMCEC.org or you can call 239-263-9200, ext.208.
