Breakfast at Tiffany’s

From Life in Naples Magazine

“The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida is excited to share the story of Audrey Hepburn’s teenage years in Holland during WWII at its annual ladies luncheon. Breakfast at Tiffany’s will be held in The Artisan Room at the Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort on Thursday, December 10th.

As they sip mimosas, guests will hear from Naples native Margaret Cardillo, author of the delightful children’s book, Just Being Audrey. Ms. Cardillo will discuss her research about the iconic actress and how Audrey’s career and life were shaped by her wartime experiences. Luncheon will follow the presentation.

Guests will also learn about the impact of the Museum’s Education programs, which reach over 15,000 students in Southwest Florida each year. The Museum helps today’s students connect the past to the present by sharing the inspirational stories of local residents who are Holocaust Survivors, Resisters, Rescuers and World War II Veterans. All programs encourage students to think how their own actions matter, and how they can have a positive impact on their families and communities.”
