Author & Illustrator Presentation

The Museum is pleased to once again have author, Ruth VanderZee, and illustrator, Bill Farnsworth, in Naples to share about their children’s books related to the Holocaust.

Together, they produced Eli Remembers, one of the books included in the Museum’s current exhibit, Picturebook History: Telling the Story to Children.  On display are some of Ruth’s edited manuscripts, as well as original sketches from Bill.

Ruth also wrote Erika’s Story, which is also included in the exhibit.  Bill illustrated the book, Irena Sendler and the Children of the Warsaw Ghetto, and donated the original paintings to the Museum.  Some of those are currently on display.

Please join us to hear from Ruth and Bill about their work together, and separately, on such an important topic.

Please RSVP to 239-263-9200 by November 19th.
