The GenShoah Annual Pot Luck is our once a year opportunity to schmooze, catch up, and eat good food—but this year the good food will have to be what you prepare and eat in your home. So, this is not exactly a pot luck this year. A lot of things are not happening exactly as they had. BUT instead of listing all of the things that have to be different at the GenShoah “what used to be a “ Pot Luck this year, below are all of the things we can do:
- We can still see one another—on zoom.
- We can still chat—in breakout rooms.
- We can still hear Rene Geist and Linda Wertheim discuss, virtually, the inspiring and beautiful book “Witness: Lesson’s from Elie Wiesel’s Classroom,” by Wiesel’s student Ariel Burger. This book is part of the “Heroes, Heroines and Helpers” events of our theme this year.
- We can still participate in a virtual Hanukah candle lighting that will be led by our annual hostess Shirley Besikof.
So plan your menu, find your old latke recipe, dust off the Hanukah menorah and PLEASE join old and new friends on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
This event is for GenShoah members only.

Looking forward to “seeing” you on Sunday, Dec. 13.
