Girl Power! – How Women Impacted the Holocaust and Beyond

January 5, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

January 5 – May 25, 2021

Girl Power! introduces you to a group of brave women who risked everything to help others. The women profiled in this new exhibit are as different from one another as they can be. They represent a variety of backgrounds, ages, historical periods, and countries. Yet one common element binds them all together – in the face of great personal risk they acted against bigotry, hatred, and violence. They found the courage to act against evil and do the right thing to help others. Their actions put not only themselves in harm’s way, but their families and associates, too. Girl Power! celebrates their continuing impact on our world today. Through these stories, the Exhibit also honors all the women whose brave actions are sadly lost to history.
